We take great pride in these alpacas that form the backbone of the breeding program here at Cas-Cad-Nac Farm. This group of males is used primarily within our farm's foundation herd and they are offered for outside stud service on an extremely limited basis only to those clients that have purchased breeding stock from CCNF. We do have a few Herdsires which we offer openly for outside service but even those are limited 10 outside breedings per year. Though not all our males are exactly the same, in the final analysis they each have the combination of fleece quality, conformation, and presence that we look to promote in our breeding program. The simple idea is to improve the genetic outcome with each breeding and compromising on the quality of the Herdsires one uses will only move you sideways, not forward.

Whether it's light or dark, we have a male for most every occasion. Our working Herdsires are all either the domestically born offspring of award winning parentage or are direct imports themselves. Most have won major awards at the national level, most notably the AOBA Nationals and The Futurity. Together they offer an unprecedented collection of quality and selection on par with any alpaca breeding farm in the world
