The Vermont Fiber Mill & Studio (VFM&S) is a partnership between Cas-Cad-Nac Farm and Maple View Farm Alpacas in Brandon, VT where the
Mill is physically located.
In addition to processing (into yarn, rovings, batts, and felt), marketing, and selling the yearly alpaca fiber clips from both partner farms, the
Mill also acts as a commercial fiber processor for other natural fiber producers as well. From alpaca, to wool, to mohair, and cashmere…the Mill processes
them all. In addition to fiber processing, the VFM&S also hosts fiber related workshops including wet felting, needle felting, handpainted dyeing and much
more for adults, young adults and children in its Education Center. You can find out more about the workshop schedule by clicking here. We are really excited to
be partners in the VFM&S with Ed and Deb Bratton of Maple View Farm and to be part of a growing business that is contributing in a tangible way to the strengthening
of Vermont agriculture.
The Mill is open every Thursday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM (or other days/times by appointment). For more information on the Vermont
Fiber Mill & Studio please click

If you can’t make it to Brandon in person but are a knitter looking for some yarn for a new project, a hand spinner looking for some alpaca
roving, or perhaps just interested in some finished textiles, you can also click
here to go directly to the Mill’s store page. The VFM&S’s store
offers secure online ordering. Those that are familiar with alpaca already know how wonderful it can be to work with and/or wear. For the uninitiated: we invite to
find out for yourselves!
